Ætgædere, ah, resting place, kept by the Valar and used by all who wish to. What better place to come and enjoy the peace, the serenity. For as she softly stepped through the glades of the beautiful scenery, feeling the warmth and comfort surround her, she felt never safer. The air was cool and fresh on her face, and she closed her eyes a moment, listening to the gentle sounds. Water trickling, a gentle waterfall cascading down the rocks ever so calmly. The sun touching against her skin, its rays welcoming to the Vala, what more could she want. Here was home, and home had called her away from her duties. For everyone needed to rest sometimes, and this was her time...

Giliathriel stepped onto the sandy white grains of the beautiful beach, where a warm breeze flicked her hair in a cascade of rolling red and brown waves, as it undid the thong that kept her hair up. She saw a white light in the distance, and knew she was seeing Vaire, a Vala. She was taken aback by the tranquility that was coming from this glowing entity, and stepped back, afraid to approach. But she knew that the Vala would know she was there, and if she wanted to talk, she would make it known. So instead Giliathriel (whose name means maiden garlanded with all the stars) turned her face to the twilight, catching a glow in her hair and eyes with the first evening star. She hadn't gotten her name for nothing. Some had said that all the stars had come together and fallen on her when she was born, which was when Earendil was the brightest of the year. This small radience gave her light enough to see, and she journeyed on down the beach, at a slow but comfortable pace, taking in the beauty of the snow white mountains, gleaming in the starlight. The waves were perfect, and had a lively sound the grey havens could never compare with. The wind was embalmed with the essence of flower, and everytime it rustled it filled all Valinor with a fragence like no other. Every rustle of the trees was a bell sounding in the distance, and a birds cry was an opera with no compare. Even the little sand crabs were beautiful, with a shell that sparkled with the slightest movement.

Deciding to take a break from the dreary drabness of the rest of Middle Earth, Morgoth walked into the pub on the white shores, noticing two familiar faces. Normally, he would be inclined to sneer, but something about this place dissuaded him from doing it. Instead, he lifted his nose into the air, breathing in the perfumes of the place, surprisingly, they weren't unpleasant to his olfactories... Wondering what had come over him, Morgoth finished his entrance and took a seat, glancing furtively at Vaire and Giliathriel, wondering why, oh why, his normal evil feelings had deserted him. Perhaps, as it was possible, though not entirely probable, that he was getting soft as he aged, but that didn't make much sense. He would have been a big mushpuddle by now, certainly that wasn't the answer. Musing, Morgoth sighed, and rested his regal head in his hands, wondering what was up with himself.[/b]

Giliathriel heard a rustle and beautiful bird calls, and turned, her radiant crown piercing the darkness and revealing a lean figure, one she could almost place in her mind. Then she remembered, this was Morgoth, but he didn't seem nearly so evil as he normally did. She pondered for a moment, dancing on the balls of her feet, which sank nicely into the moist sand. She made up her mind, and, the light in her eyes and hair lighting the way, she made her way over to Morgoth and sat down. She looked around for a few second from her new point of view, then decided to speak. Hello, it is refreshing to see a familiar face here. I assume everything goes well with you? Using her eyes like a beacon, she increased the light and found a package of meatloaf that she had tucked in her cloak sometime earlier, and began to munch.

rp Lorien Lorien looked out over Ætgædere, he stood on the beach, letting the wind blow through his hair. He looked around him and noticed some familiar faces. He gave Vaïre a smile and waved at Gili. He slowly walked over to Morgoth, wondering in what mood he was today. As he came closer he was shocked by the soft look on Morgoths face...He grinned and gave him a pat on the shoulder "what is wrong with you lately? you act so weird" he said and sat down next to Morgoth, seeing Gili joining.
rp Aisil Aisil entered the gorgeous Ætgædere, home of the Valar. She walked over the beach, and looked at the bright air. She sat down on the sand, wanting some time for herself. She soon saw other people walking through the beautifull lands, wich she didn`t see before as she was to bussy with herself. She gto up her feed and walked over to gili and gave her a hug "Hey dear, how are you?" she asked with a smile.

Giliathriel watched Aisil and Lorien come and join her and Morgoth. I agree as well, Morgoth has been acting very weird lately. Maybe he is getting soft...she said, elbowing Mo. She shook out her hair, causing little droplets of light to rain down. She caught them in her hand and threw them down on some nearby flowers, making them open and bloom, emitting a steady but faint glow. Such a magical place, Valinor. Although starlight sets my hair eyes and face alight, never has it rained down as liquid. Perhaps this is how Galadriel captured the light of Earendil. I could definitely see her catching drops of starlight.

Try as he might, Morgoth just couldn't turn on his evil aura, so he was relegated to being nice and... good. He shuddered at the thought, and felt some weird feeling that wasn't entirely unknown to the Dark Lord, but it wasn't very familiar either. Hello, Gili He said, looking at the woman with light dripping from her radiant hair. Yes, everything is... good. Not that I'm enjoying it, of course, but things are good. He uttered that cursed word twice now, and each time he felt a little tingle run up and down his spine... The Dark One saw Lorien come into the pub, and nodded at the other Vala. Well, well. What is weird, is it not what we define it as? He mused, grinning at the other being. He felt a quick jab from Gili, and his grin soon dissolved, turning into a glare, but it wasn't nearly as potent as it should have been. Turning his gaze to the woman, he couldn't hold it, something here had changed some part of him, and he wondered if he would get his evilness back intact... hoped that it would be complete... He watched with a critical air, as she threw liquid light onto some flowers, which rejoiced in the brightness and emitted their own glow. Scowling, Morgoth looked at the other people that had congregated at his table, and sighed...[/b]

Gili watched as Morgoth's expression started to change. You look glum. Is something wrong? You seem like... like you can't be evil.

Figuring that he might as well try to have what others usually referred to as "a good time," Morgoth grinned at Gili when she asked him what was wrong. True... but I guess it's alright, I might as well see how the rest of you guys live. The Dark Lord tapped his fingers on the table, trying to get used to being un-evil. It wasn't as painful as he thought it might be, after all these years, but it wasn't exactly breakfast in bed either...[/b]

The ever silent Doomsman of the Valar, Mandos, sought a change in scenery from his dark halls. The spirits of Elves, Dwarves, and others were only good company for awhile. Sometimes they were just outright boring, but here he could relax on the White shores. The stars of Varda shone brightly above in the clear sky. The gulls called out in their sad language. He took a seat by himself and watched his brethern with meager interest, more delighted by the company of only himself.

You know...She said, turning to Morgoth There are other ways to be evil while still having what we call a good time. Like one, you could be a trickster. Also, jokingly insulting people is also fun(I do that a lot). I for one think you would make a great trickster.she said, giving the dark lord a dazzling smile. She heard a rustling and saw a dark figure sit down alone, and somehow she knew that it was Mandos. She had heard that he was a bit of a loner, but maybe he was just shy, like she was. Hello, Mandos? Would you like to join us?

He stared at Varda for a few moments, pondering her question. Without a gesture he rose and silently walked over to join her and Morgoth. The Doomsman was quite unused to the company of his brethren, normally only speaking dooms and fates at their meetings. Such as the Doom he foretold to the Noldor ere they left Valinor for Middle-earth. "So, Lady of the Stars. How are you Varda?"

Gili muppetsed her head and gave Mandos a funny look. Varda? No, I'm not her. Just Gili As for how I am, I am very fine, especially here on these beautiful shores. I wish Middle Earth could have some that could even compare. How fare you?
