honestly? i thought the fellowship was the best! because it just showed every character so well and brought out the power of the elves. my best scene was moria where they met they came face to face with the maia and it was breathtaking.

Most beautiful movie- Fellowship Funniest- fellowship or TTT BEst- Return of the King
Best Battle- Pellenor Fields. I agree about the maia part being breathtaking, but it was so sad when gandalf fell i cried so much, and the music didn't help.

Hmmm, I love the Fellowship fo the Ring, it was really exciting seeing them start their journey. i didn't really like TTT though because 3/4 of it was fighting, even though I know that's the main part of TTT, I still didn't really like it. RoTK was the ultamite though, we got to see all of the character's best sides, it really potrayed the characters at their bests

I liked the thrashing of Isengard. That was a cool battle scene. I like the great river part in FotR. But, I absolutely LOVE the lighting of the beacons in RotK. The music is absolutely beautiful, and i love the way they shot the scene.

I saw the Fellowship before reading the book, whereas I read both TTT and RotK before seeing the movie. Because of this FotR is my favourite movie because it introduced me into both the movies and the books. I also did not know how much the movie cut out or how inaccurate it was when I first saw it, unlike the other two. Favourite scene was the Ride of the Rohirrim in RotK.

like I said in the other thread, return of the king is the best movie ever, the funniest is fellowship of the ring but return of the king is most definitely the most beautiful one

I personally thought that The Fellowship was the most beautiful movie, because you got to see all these different places that were all so breathtaking. Overall, however, RotK dominates.

well personally, i think ROTK was the best.. no matter what. battle scenes and all. i also found it to be the funniest, because everyone was sooooo over dramatic, it was funny.

I agree Rimiel, they were way overdramatic. Like when Legolas says, A diversion.

*grins* I've been thinking, and Fellowship really is the best movie. But ROtk really has the best battle scenes. But Fotr is just better.

Well, ROtk has this nice blue triumphant feeling... but fotr has this green feeling to it... overall the acting is better, the music is better... and everyone just seems more innocent. The NAzgul scenes are cool too.
