Welcome to the Green Dragon Inn

As you walk along a long road in Hobbition, you look up and are greeted by the sight of a big Green Dragon, but fear not, it is merely the sign post for The Green Dragon Inn, the best pub in all the Shire. As you enter the pub you see many little tables and chairs dotted around (and a few larger ones for them big folk). On one wall is a roaring fireplace and against another one lies the bar. You see a friendly looking Hobbit lass standing behind the counter cleaning some glasses. That’s just your landlady, Fiwen, who is always up for some chat (or gossip). So please, come in, sit down and relax enjoy our roaring fire while sipping one of our many drinks. Or if you wish, you may sing a song, tell a story, or read a poem. Whatever your heart desires is what we want for you! And please if you need anything, don't be shy!

Fiwen leaned on the bar,thinking that things had been a little quiet in Hobbiton lately, but she hoped that the re-opening of the Green Dragon Pub would attract some visitors. After all, it was only about a month until the celebrations for Yule, and she hoped that she would get a group for the fesitivities in the pub.

As she picked up a glass, Fiwen noticed that some of the cutlery was rather dusty. She picked up a cloth and started to polish it, thinking that it looked quite chilly outside.

[Giliathriel Alquasilme]

Giliathriel stepped off of her horse and looked at the homely pub. It had been a long journey, and such a fun looking place would be just what she needed. She walked inside and looked at the menu immediately, heeding the commands of her growling stomach. Finally, she decided that she would have Tomato Soup and Grilled Conies, with a nice Shire Whiskey to go with it. She walked up to the bar and her eyes widened as she realized who it was behind the bar. Fiwen! How lovely it is to see you. While I'm up here, can I get a bowl of Tomato Soup, some of that Grilled Conie, and a Shire Whiskey? It has been a very long journey from Arnor. How have you been? You seem well, but one can never tell with you, she says winking before pulling up a chair and sitting at the bar.

Fiwen realised who had just come through the door:her friend Gili. She put aside the glass and let her have a quic peek at the menu, waiting for her to come and ample some of the great food which had been cooking. After all, she seemed to have had quite a long journey, and if hobbits were anything to go by, a long journey meant twice the amount of food when they arrive anywhere. She didn't doubt that it would be the same here.
As Gili turned towards her, Fiwen gave her a welcoming smile, listened to her order, and poured out the Shire Whiskey into one of the freshly cleaned mugs. "I am fine thank you," she said in respnse to Gili's question. "I hope you are all right. You look quite tired. Business has been quite quiet, especially as it has been such a hot summer, bt now winter's coming I hope that it will improve. And how is everything in the rest of the world? I don't realy get about that much!" she said, laughing.

Dúrvain entered the Green Dragon quietly.her dark cloak flowing about her shoulders as she stepped over to the bar a smile curving her lips as she looked at Fiwen and Gili."Suilaid my friends,may I join you? and may I also my lady Fiwen have a glass of Shire Whiskey and Paste with Mushroom Sauce please?"

Fiwen smiled as Durvain entered the pub. "Of course you may join us," she said. "Of course you may have a Shire Whiskey, and I'll just check to see how the pasta is doing." She took a glass off the stack, and poured the Shire Whiskey into it, handing it to Durvain, before heading off into the kitchen to see how the food was. She came quickly back with Gili's Tomato Soup and Grilled conie. "The pasta will be ready in a minute," she said to Durvain.
