Entering the pub after a hard day tending the land and his crops, Tenacious enters the pub in search for a refreashing ale. He stands on the threshold of the door for a moment because when he opened the door, he found the Green Dragon completely deserted apart from the landlady Estel. Shrugging it off as himself being early he takes a seat on a stool up by the bar. He greets Estel with a "good afternoon" and glances at the menu. "Well I was intending to treat myself to an ale, but this special lemonade has me curious. Tell me, what is so special about it?"

Estel was busy cleaning glasses when a friendly young hobbit lad entered the pub. She beamed and said, welcome my dear, what can I get you? She smiled as he asked about her lemonade, replying well now, lets just say the secret ingrediant really packs a punch, it's a special little additive right out of Mordor, Try it if you wish, she added as she poured him a small glass. Would you like something to eat, or have you had second breakfast already?

"Oh yes, something to eat. I think I might have the grilled coney with taters and vegetables thanks." Waiting patiently for Estel to prepare his food, Tena glances down to his glass of lemonade. A little apprehensive at first, he lifts up the glaces and takes a whiff. Smelling nothing too unusual he lowers the glass to his lips. Resting his lips on the rim of the glass for a moment, he eventually puts all his nerves a side and takes a mouthful. "Gee, you were right when you said it packs a punch!" Tena then picks up the glass again and drains the rest of the lemonaide. "It sure is addictive too!"

Estel laughs as she sees Tena knock back the lemonade, thinking, he may well regret that! She sets about making his second breakfast. Grilling the tender piece of coney, until it's nice and soft, but not too well done she pops on a pot of taters and prepares some carrots and brocilli to go with it. When it was all done she placed it neatly onto a nice big plate and brought it out. Putting it down in front of Tena she smiles and says "enjoy my dear and it's on the house since you are my first customer! Now would you like another drink to go with it? A nice ale perhaps or would you like some more of my lemonade?"

"On the house? Why thank you so very much, that's rather generous of you. I would love another drink and although my heart is wanting another lemonaide, my head seems thoroughly against it. I will settle for a nice refreshing ale, thankyou." When Estel sets his plate of food down in front of him, Tena couldn't believe his eyes. Managing to stop himself salivating over the delicious coney, he squeaks out a "Thankyou very much, this looks absolutley divine." Not being able to contain himself any longer Tena tucks into the coney and taters.

Estel pours Tena a nice big mug of cool ale and sits it down on the bar next to him. She smiles as he tucks into the plate of food and then she returns to washing up some glasses, leaving him alone to enjoy his food. Turning around she says to him, "you just let me know if you want anything else dear, alright?"

Deciding to visit the Shire, Xavier came across the cozy-looking Green Dragon, and ventured inside. Though of shorter stature than most men, he wasn't quite mistakable for a hobbit, unless it was one that had nursed a few ent draughts... With a jaunty step and a happy glint in his blue eyes, Xavier walked over to the bar and sat on a stool. He found it quite comfortable, the height was just right, not so short he couldn't see over the counter, like many taverns of men that he had visited. Nodding his mohawked head at the pub mistress and another patron, he smiled and gazed at the menu. Smiling at the tendress, he ordered some food and drink to satiate his appetite. Ello there! I'd like a rum and roast chicken please! He swung his feet around while waiting for his food, inhaling the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen...

Estel was still standing over the wash basin when she heard the door of the pub open. Looking up she saw a young man come strolling in. Drying the soapy suds off her hands she turned and flashed him a big smile. Welcome my dear, to the Green Dragon, whats your pleasure? Listening to his order she hurried off to get the food on. While the chicken was on cooking she returned to the bar and poured him a big glass of rum? Handing it over she ran back into the kitchen and finished off the meal. As the chicken cooked she peeled the taters and veg and stood beside the warm stove while they boiled, humming a sweet tune to herself. When all was ready she neatly put it all on a big plate and carried it out to to the young man. Beaming at him she said, "there you go deary, hope you enjoy it. So what brings you to the Shire?"

The wonderful aromas of the food cooking put Xavier in a bit of a trance, until Ms. Underhill placed the steaming order in front of him. Snapping out of it, he smiled at the hobbit and winked. Aye, thank you muchly, the smell of it all is just too wonderful! Why, the reason of my being here is nothing other than to look upon your beautiful face, m'dame! Grinning, the man dug into his food, savoring the taste of the chicken, and washing each delightful bite down with a mouthful of rum. Xavier pondered not going back to Mordor, but staying here and eating the masterpieces that hobbits call "vittles" for the rest of his merry life...

Estel felt herself blush as Xavier said why he was in the Shire. He may have been a minion but he certainly had some charm. She picked up a glass and poured herself a glass of cool water, cooking all that hot food was making her quite warm. Picking up Tena's plate she went back into the kitchen to wash it up. Drying it and putting it away she returned to the bar and smiling at Xavier asked "Would you like anything else to go with that?"
(OOC, sry it's taken so long but I was having a small break from everything)

A small hobbit called Hwestawen walked in and greeted Rosie with a hug. Hello Rosie, I haven't seen you since I was a tween! How are you? She gives a similar greeting to Tenacious and Xavier, even though he was a minion, and very gross to hug, so she shook his hand vigoruously. She could see that he thought her overexcitable, but she gave him a look and set him straight. You know, I'm not normally like this. I just found out today that my father managed to grow the largest pumpkin ever recorded in this farthing, so it is cause for excitement everywhere. Calms down a little bit, and decides that maybe he's not so bad after all.
<<Mo Edit: What's that supposed to mean? Xavier's the best looking guy in ME! I mean it! And he doesn't smell or is gross to hug just cuz he's a minion! (although it was kinda funny...rude, but funny... Xavier's got feelings too!!! *_*)>> Gili Edit: No offense meant, just a hobbit being weird and stuff. Would it help if I apologized?

Yawning widely, but just wide awake enough for second, or was it third?, breakfast, Fiwen stumbled into the pub, out of the bright sunlight which was making her head ache. "Ooh, I think I had just a little bit too much ale last night," she said to the Hobbit behind the counter. "Can I have some roast chicken please, with a chocolate milkshake. I don't think it's quite safe to have alcohol just yet." Turning around, she just heard what Hwestawen had said about the pumpkin, and went forward to congratulate her, while greeting all the other members of the pub. "Well, and what was the length of this pumpkin of yours, so that it may be remembered all over the Shire in ages to come?" she asked.

I hope so! Daddy is very proud. Spent all last night polishing it, he was so happy. Mum was rather upset that he wouldn't even talk to her, so we may have to lock it up for fear she'll do something to it!Hwesta said with a grin, and a very happy look at Fiwen. She got up and hugged Fiwen as well, then sat back down. Why don't you join me?

"Thanks, I will. My family have never been fantastic gardners, but I do appreciate those who can grow brilliant vegetables. I'm sure your Mum won't do anything dangerous to it, especially once she realises how great it is!" Fiwen grinned. She sat down in the offereed seat with her milkshake and chicken, and looked around at the other occupants. "Well, Hwesta, what do you plan to do with this pumpkin now that it has been grown? Surely you must be doing something special?"
