i must say when i saw the film and the minas morgul scene came i was very dissapointed! i mean the city did look forbidding to some extent but there was no eerie feel to it at all. like in the movie the city gave of this warm glow of light but im sure in the book tolkien said somethin g about minas morgul being many windowed all dark inside but the tower had a very cold dead light seeping through and when i read that part it sent a chill down my spine. what do you think?

Hmm, yeah you are kind of right, Minas Morgul was a bit eerie, but I agree, I don't think it had a great effect

there was a eerie feeling to it but there was not the feeling that I got when I read the book.Jackson did a fairly good job on it but I like the way the book desribes it better.

although I haven't read the book in a while, I really liked how Peter Jackson did Minas Morgul. IT seems really creepy, and I liked how he did it with the light shooting up into the sky. It really was kinda scary. In a sense.

I think it looked cool, but not creepy enough. I liked the green light but when I read the book I don`t imagine it like ti was in the movie

Yeah, it did look kind of cool, but Peter Jackson does seem to like turning things green to make them scary, like Galadriel and Minas Morgul. Even the fire in Bree does look a bit too green at points, which does make you feel uncomfortable but isn't that great.
