Poor old Bilbo Baggins, he was just sitting at home, smoking his pipe and enjoying a sip of Ale when lo and behold a bunch of strangers started to appear coming through his little green door.
You are those strangers.
Come to Bag End as any Middle Earth character you want, but don't tell Bilbo who you are or he'll kick you out.
How the game is played: I am Bilbo, you are a stranger in my home. You pretend to be any character out of the book by talking to Bilbo and dropping subtle hints, if I guess who you are, you then take on the role of Bilbo and it's your turn to do the guessing!
Rules: Keep it IC please. All posts are to be at least three lines long after posting so about 7 or 8 lines of typing in this box please. Come as any Character, but I'm limiting it to the Hobbit and LotR characters for now. Drop little hints about who you are, but don't give away too much or you are outta here.

Hearing of a party at Bilbo's place,Tenacious journeys to Bag End to celebrate. He knocks at the door and enters before Bilbo has a chance to move from the sitting room. A smile of amusement appears on Tena's face when he ducks to enter the sitting room and sees the look on Bilbo's face. "I know you didn't expect me Bilbo, but I heard about your hospitality and the quality of your seed cake. I would dearly like to try some."

Bilbo was sitting alone reading in his sitting room when he heard his door open. Getting up he saw a stranger standing there. Getting a little angry he asked, what would you be wanting?

"What would I be wanting? Well some afternoon tea would be nice, I am getting rather thirsty. It is a rather long journey to come all the way out to The Shire." Surveying the room he spies some biscuits resting on the table. Taking a couple he finishes them in a few bites and takes a seat in a nearby armchair. Brushing the crumbs out of his short, light coloured beard he asks "So, young master, do you know when the other guests will be arriving?"

Bilbo stared at the stranger, how dare he ask for tea. But calming down a little he began, "Well I suppose since you seem friendly enough, I was just about to have my afternoon tea. You came a long way you say, I wonder just how far? And what others do you mean, I hope there are no others, I am in no mood to entertain." Walking into the kitchen he returned a little later with a tray of tea and sandwiches. "Here you go, but don't make yourself too comfortable mind. I'm a busy Hobbit you know."

"Yes I did travel for wuite a while" came the reply. "I had to travel around the Misty Mountains which added quite a lot of extra time onto my journey. As for the others all I heard were rumours of others attending, but it seems now as if they were only rumours." The man then stand up in Bilbo's sitting room and careful not to hit his head, stretches out his back. "Rubbing his backside he says to Bilbo "We breed the finest horses in all the land, you would think that we could make some comfortable saddles, wouldn't you? Never the less the pace of my horse helped shorten my journey."

"Ey, is that so, breed horses do you? I don't go in much for horses or ponies, I like to walk personally. Well sir, I think you come from a land I have never visited, but one I've heard a lot about from my good friend Gandalf. I don't suppose you have a younger sister do you?" Reaching over Bilbo grabs himself a lovely cheese sandwich while keeping his eye on the young Rohirrim.

"Why yes, though I have been out of contact with my younger sister recently. Ever since she moved away with that Gondorian man we have maintained less and less contact which is a shame." The tall man glances out the window to see the sun beginning to go down in the cool afternoon sky. "Oh my, it seems I have stayed too long. I must be heading off soon, my wife Lothiriel and son Elfwine will be expecting me soon."

Bilbo rose from his chair, "well Eomer, it was nice to meet you, but since you say you need to head off and I have things to do I'll say good day sir." Bilbo picked up the tray and brought it into the kitchen to wash up.
If you want to go another round (I know it would be nice to have more people but hey, it's just me and you right now) you play Bilbo. So if you wanna post something as Bilbo go ahead, then I'll come in as someone!

The sight of a smoking chimney and a light in the window could only draw the attention of Vugar. He slowly slinked his way into Bilbo's house where he took a seat, quite content. "What has it got for us, hmmmm? Perhaps something from the river? Yes that would be quite delicious." His large eyes moved around scanning the home of the hobbit.

After finally getting rid of Eomer, Bilbo sinks into his armchair with a sigh. But when yet another unexpected, and also undesired, guest entered his hobbit hole he stood up out of his chair. Bilbo surveyed this strange fellow as he walked across the room and onto the chair. The intruder began muttering to himself, though nothing Bilbo could interpret. "Excuse me, are you talking to me? What are you saying, and what are you doing in my house?"

It seems Vugar has not returned. In the interest of keeping the game rolling along his turn has been abandoned. If you would like to be an unexpected visitor, please go ahead.

Fiwen moved smoothly towards the welcoming lights in Bag End, holding her long dress up out of the slightly muddy road. She entered, ducking her head to avoid hitting a beam, and sat opposite Bilbo, watching him out of deep blue eyes. Her long hair fell down over her dress as she sat down, so she tucked it back behind her ears, and looked closely at the hobbit.

Just as Bilbo had finally managed to convince his unextpected, unwanted and uncalled for visitor to leave his hobbit hole, another unknown person enters Bag End. "I really should stop making that seed cake" he thought to himself. "That seems to be attracting all the guests." Without even so much as a greeting, the guest moved in and sat down. Sat down in Bilbo's favourite chair, mind you! "Hullo miss. What might your business be, intruding into my home and all."
